Y4 National Media Museum

Our lucky year 4 went on a trip to the National Media Museum in Bradford last week.

Beginning with the history of media, we explored the many different types of media in recent history. We even had the chance to see a Zoetrope, which was one of the first ways to create an animated scene. A  Zoetrope spins, showing a series of different images giving the illusion the images are moving!

We then moved on to create our very own stop motion animation. Using clay models we took a series of photos which when combined created a short film.

It was a great day, thanks to the staff at the National Media Museum.
