Magna Science Show!
This week the our children from Years 1 to 6 got to experience the Magna Science Show!
From exploding camera film tubes, to shoulder mounted rockets the children had a great time investigating some really important science facts including about pressure, surface tension, chemical reactions and much more!
We found out about density, using a "Cartesian Diver", when the density changes the "Diver" moves up or down in the bottle! Find out how to make your own here: https:// sciencebob.com/make-a-cartesian-diver/
We saw just how reactive vinegar and bicarbonate of soda can be when put under pressure in a camera film tub, with them nearly hitting the hall roof! Find out how to do this experiment here: http://www-tc.pbskids.org/zoom/printables/activities/pdfs/ filmcanisterrocket.pdf
